American Clipper Ship Weather Vane

$65.00

The design of this weather vane was modeled after the Charles Morgan, which launched in 1841 from Bedford, Massachusetts. This American Clipper Ship Weather Vane is 34″ tall (total length incl. brass stake); the ship itself is 6 1/2″ wide, 6″ high.

Weather Vanes are made with the verdigris finish on etched brass. Verdigris is the name of the finish produced by a chemical reaction with the metal to either outside elements or a chemical solution. Will not rust. These are individually created items, therefore, the color may vary.

Please note: Shipping for weather vanes is rather costly. I don’t charge for the extra care required in packing them—but, unfortunately, I get no break in shipping charges, which I must pass along. There is a savings when buying more than one, as the cost remains the same as when purchasing a single vane or garden ornament.
